Moving On Up

This is the view from our kitchen window, behind our house.

This is our new guest room awaiting visitors.

This is our new kitchen. I love it! It's so big!

This is our Missouri living room.
I thought someone might like to see some pictures of our new home after we have moved in. It's still somewhat messy, but it will get there. As you can see from the first picture, we had about 8 inches of snow the weekend we moved in. It was definitely an adventure. We are so thankful for the tremendous way that God continues to bless us through this entire process.
We would love to have visitors if anyone is looking to travel west. Our guest room is definitely ready. Thank you for your continued support and prayers for us and our ministry.

Last Blog?

Ok, so this isn't really my last blog. However, it is the last blog that I can promise for a while. We have been scurrying around working out final details for our big move. We are scheduled to close on our new home on Monday and we've started packing up all of our numerous odds and ends. Yes, things are certainly moving fast. We are planning on moving to Wentzville, MO on December 15th. Our parents have graciously offered to help us with the transition by joining us on our trip. I'm very excited for them to see where we will live. We will be settling in Wentzville for 6 or 7 days. Then we will hurry home to celebrate Christmas with our families. After our Christmas excursion, we will head back to Missouri to attend our first youth trip with our new youth group...Winter Extreme. We are, of course, excited and nervous about this new and uncharted territory, but I am sure we will be reporting some good stories soon.

I have included some pictures of our new house below:

Resemblance

It's crazy to think that I was once so small. Time really does change things, too. Back then, Dale was actually nice to me (just kidding). It's amazing how quickly things change, and yet amazing how you can see God's hand in the change. I don't really remember when the first picture was taken, but obviously it was a while ago. The second picture is a little more recent. It's always fun to look back and see just how far you've come. In this one instance, my brother, dad and I ended up in the same place we started.....right next to each other.

Changes

Have you ever heard that the only thing that stays the same is that everything changes? I feel like my whole world is changing. But let me say.....I feel like it's changing for the good. As many of you already know, my husband and I are moving to Wentzville, MO. So far everything that we have learned about Wentzville has been a blessing...except that they charge sales tax on groceries. Seriously though, we have experienced so many of God's blessings throughout this entire process. We so appreciate all of the prayers and support that we have received from our friends and family! We are looking forward to what God has for us in Wentzville, MO.
