The Fields Come to Missouri

We had to get at least one group picture.

The fish tank was very entertaining for everyone under 4 feet tall.

We had so much fun at Zachary's Playground.

Allison had fun, too. She named this dragon Puff.

Melissa spent a lot of the weekend playing with Grace.
I was so glad that everyone came to visit us a few weeks ago; especially Dale, Hannah, Grace, Micah & Sam. It was a crazy, totally fun weekend. We went shopping and hit the playground a couple of times. And we had our fair share of Heaven Scent Donuts. Good times were had by all.
Just on a side note, today while I was out birthday shopping for Jeremy, an actual tumbleweed blew across the road right in front of my car. I knew we moved a little west, but I didn't know we were that far west. Ha-ha.

Cuccumbers the Size of Your Head

This is, by far, the BIGGEST cuccumber that I have ever seen. I think I'm going to make homemade pickles.

Jeremy and I went to play disc golf. Dad, this reminds me of the time we went and played together.

Last, but not least, we got an aquarium. We have ten fish so far and cute decorations in it, too. So far none of them have died, but I probably shouldn't speak too soon.

Campbellsville to Hannibal & Everywhere in Between

Tim, this blog is for you. I know it took me a while....sorry.

I took a trip home to Louisville to train the new processor at FTC.

Me and Dale. I miss you, bro.

While I was in Louisville, it just so happened that Aunt Laura and Uncle Don were in town visiting Memaw and Pepaw. So I got to have dinner with all of them.

I miss my sisters! But it was so great to see you all!

When Jeremy's family visited we went to Hannibal, MO, the boyhood home of Mark Twain. Jeremy and Jonathan battled it out on the mini-golf course.

Me and Jenna! She comes to visit in one day! Yay!

More from Hannibal.....I think I could have been a pioneer girl.

We took some of our youth to camp in Campbellsville, KY. Here's our group pic!

Ok, so I know I've been a very bad blogger. :( However, this summer has been totally nuts! So I resolve to do better and try to blog more often. I do realize, however, that my blogs aren't near as cute or interesting as those family members who have three adorable kids. :) But for those friends of mine who do check my blog, this is for you. I miss you all!!

Prayer, Fasting & Landscaping

This weekend we had a prayer and fasting retreat with our new youth group. It was an awesome trip and opportunity to grow closer to the Lord.
This is the group that went on the retreat; 3 guys and 3 girls.

The cabins we stayed in were very nice! And there was an awesome view!

We took the students bowling to keep their minds off of their hunger.

Still at the bowling alley.

We all broke our fast together at the 54th Street Grill. It was delicious!

We also started working on our landscaping this weekend. We still have a long way to go, but it's a start.

Jeremy even put together his lawn mower. He didn't mow, but at least the mower is put together. We had a very productive & busy weekend.

Home Is Where Your Heart Is

Home is where the heart is. That statement is so true. You know, I always thought that you could really only have one place that you call home, but I'm starting to see that your heart can actually be in more than one place. Jeremy's mom was even telling me this past week about a time when she felt as though she had two homes that were very far apart. Louisville will always feel like home for me, but Wentzville is beginning to feel like home as well. And, of course, ultimately, I have a third home with my Savior. I guess you can really have as many homes as your heart can fit......and I feel like mine is growing. Here are some pictures from our two homes here in this ever-changing world of ours.
I was so happy to visit Memaw and Pepaw. Pepaw had an edible arrangement sent to Memaw for Valentine's Day. It was very pretty and tasty!

The day we arrived in Louisville there was a snow/ice storm. So Allison decided to build a snow monster. Cute, huh?
Me and Melissa goofing off as normal.
My parents bought us a grill as a house-warming gift. Dad and Jeremy put it together when they came to visit us in January.
Melissa and I were helping Jeremy and Dad put together the grill.

This is our church building.

This is the sign for our church. What a blessing God has given us with our new church family! More pictures are soon to come.

Christmas Really is My Favorite Time of Year

This is Jeremy and me on our first youth retreat in Branson, MO.

Enjoying the best graduation party ever!!

I think Mom had a good Christmas, too.

Melissa and Micah matching on Christmas. Too cute!

Hannah liked her rubber gloves. I helped pick them out. Yay!

Allison got into some flour, I think.......

I love this pciture! Grace was having so much fun with those oven mitts.

Dale LOVED these workers' gloves that he didn't even get to keep.
.
Christmas is my favorite time of year because I get to spend time with all of the people that I love. I very much enjoyed this Christmas season, especially knowing we would be coming back to Missouri afterward. I simply tried to savor every moment I had with my family. Now I am ready to make some more memories, so come and visit at will.
